| I am writing a response to the nice comments left for me, in the meantime, feast on some of my favorite quotes from the right:
"Why build prisons? Get tough like [Saudi] Arabia. Behead the damned drug dealers. We're just too damned soft…Yeah. Morally I don't have any problem with it," –William Bennett, George Bush Sr. Drug Czar
"My first pledge will be to restore integrity to the White House. And I'll fire anyone who has lied to the American people or the United States Congress." – Al Gore, Feb. 2 1988
"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur." - Vice President Al Gore, 9/22/97
"A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls." -- Vice President, Al Gore
"Civilized people — Muslims, Christians and Jews — all understand that the source of freedom and human dignity is the Creator. Civilized people of all religious faiths are called to the defense of His creation. We are a nation called to defend freedom — a freedom that is not the grant of any government or document, but is our endowment from God."- U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, The Washington Post, Feb. 20, 2002
"He is the leader of the Christian right" The Washington Post, December 23, 2001 Marshall Wittmann, formerly with the Christian Coalition, now with the Hudson Institute, referring to George W. Bush
"Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do." - Ronald Reagan, 1981
"Facts are stupid things." - Ronald Reagan, 1988, a misquote of John Adams, "Facts are stubborn things."
"The American Petroleum Institute filed suit against the EPA [and] charged that the agency was suppressing a scientific study for fear it might be misinterpreted... The suppressed study reveals that 80 percent of air pollution comes not from chimneys and auto exhaust pipes, but from plants and trees." - Presidential candidate Ronald Reagan, in 1979. (There is no scientific data to support this assertion.)
"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity." – Ann Coulter, Columnist, in a column about Muslim Nations

And another thing I found on Amazon.com about Noam Chomsky i found very funny:
Rather then suffer your way through this monstrosity (He's reffering to "9/11" by Chomsky, a very good piece of history and whatnot) of a work, just skip the text and satisfy yourself with this simplistic schema:
1. Q: If a tree should fall in the woods, what might be the cause? A: Evil machinations of the US Government.
2. Q: What caused your toilet to overflow? A: Evil machinations of the US Government.
3. Q: Why were almost 3,000 people - of every background - butchered on 9/11? A: Evil Machinations of the US Government.
3. Q: Why did they make a Lethal Weapon 3? A: Evil machinations of the US Government.

| Hey, i am back, i had a good time...i ranted and raved a little so here ya go.
Just to respond back to a comment left to me by SaDiStiCsTar, thank you for the praise, I always appreciate it when people leave things like that. As for having an anarchistic view on things, that’s not the truth. I’m not saying that anarchism or anarchy is some sort of wacky fantasy world with this, in fact it’s a highly plausible theory but I would consider myself a socialist. Why you say? Well the political spectrum of beliefs runs kinda like this: Reactionary (Far right) – Conservative - Moderate Conservative – Moderate – Liberal – Liberal Democrat – Radical (Far left) Socialism falls between the Liberal Democrat and the Radical because it borrows from the theory of communism and anti-authoritarian thinking (Communists and Anarchists fall in the Radical category). If this were a true democracy like we wish, then it wouldn’t be subject to Nazi bullshit like wars against people so poor they need to work 6 days a week just to scrape by. Here are 8 solid principles you should all know about socialism, and a website if you wanna read more: 1. "There shall be no ruling class. All men and women shall have equal claim to the good life. 2. “All authority in every part of society shall be subordinate to democratic control. The people shall govern and choose their governors." 3. "The means of production will pass out of private hands, and into the hands of the workers. The workers will control their plants and shops and the fruits of their labor, and farmers will control their land and crops." 4. "Local power is better than national power. Plural power is better than a single party. Divided power is better than unified power." 5. "All the people shall obtain education in the arts and sciences at free schools and universities." 6. "All races and religions deserve both equality and autonomy, and no language or religion shall be suppressed." 7. "Socialism will protect and care for the elderly, the crippled, the sick and the weak." 8. "The land and natural resources of the country shall be protected and used to the benefit of all the people." http://www.bergonia.org/Site%20Map.htm
These are the most obvious and feasible options in a socialist country or world. The amount of money we spend in the US on fast food is more than what we spend on higher education. We do need much stronger democracy in this country that can function on the level of what should be viewed as acceptable in the richest country in the world. Much more time and public interest should be focused on elections especially at the local community level. Campaigns should be limited to about 2 months from election day, TV and media outlets should provide free space and a wide amount of time for commercials and debates should include the 4 or 5 leading candidates that are long and rigorous and focus on real issues that concern contemporary society. 5 or so debates should be held in which an environment of relaxation and openness is apparent. Real in-depth issues should be discussed instead of mechanical questions are asked again and again, i.e.: Less “What is your opinion on abortion?” and more of “What do you think are the benefits and positive side to your stance on abortion?” The so-called “War on Drugs” that was fought through the Clinton and Bush Presidencies were wars that were obviously lost and in a very negative manner. During the “Drug War” the amount of people who used drugs skyrocketed as the drug war budget went up (4). It’s quite obvious that marijuana should be legalized and taxed since it is less harmful than beer or tobacco. 34% favor legalization (1) and in a March 2001 poll a whopping 73% of those polled said that doctors should be allowed to “prescribe marijuana” (2) and in addition NORML reported that the taxation of marijuana could provide 10 to 15 billion dollars in tax revenue (3). So what about the hard drugs that do kill people? Addicts that know that they have problems and addicted personalities should immediately be put on prescription of drugs, therefore cutting the mob and drug dealers out of the equation, and sent to rehab centers for intense treatment for recovery. Good books to read on this are “Why Marijuana Should Be Legal” by Ed Rosenthal and Steve Kubby and “The Emperor Wears No Clothes” by Jack Herer (You can read a lot of it at http://www.jackherer.com/chapters.html). For daily updates and information on local laws on marijuana check out the National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws or NORML (One of my jokes goes “Only an organization of potheads would leave a letter out of an acronym”). My basic belief is that as we progress towards a new united world, we need to tear down the walls of authoritarianism and dictatorships. Not just dictatorships in counties with one-person rule but dictatorships in the classroom and everyday life. Being told constantly where to go in the place you work or study and how to act and what to say and when to say it is just as fascistic as what Stalin did. History has shown us that as time passes and educated persons become aware of how the society they live in can easily be changed they tend to spread that idea through a population. Some good examples would be of course when “The Communist Manifesto” by Marx was released, millions adopted the ideas in the sudden realization that life around them was so miserable because the people at the top had no place in ruling their lives, that the best judge of the people was the people. Just in the 80’s when the Tiananmen Square slaughter took place, why were people so angry and fed up? College students who had come home from studying in America from China said that things like the rights of the individual to not be harassed by the police and oppressed were commonplace in other places in the world. So obviously when the idea of democracy is introduced to the oppressed, they tend to get a little angry. I’d say that a good majority (9 out of 10) of the American people harbor strong resentment against their government at times of peace (war tends to whip people up into blind nationalism). So what would happen if those people realized that they could take charge of their lives and fix what’s wrong, could anarchism be a possibility, yes it could. I really see no reason why it wouldn’t if there is mutual cooperation between not only the workers of this country but strained race relations between groups and even the sexes.

I saw this on Maiku's site (He is a far right person on xanga), so enjoy.
1. The USA built the world's first democratic republic.
Actually Rome did
2. The USA produced the the freest society in the world where even Anti-American liberals can say as many stupid things as they like without being arrested or killed.
What about the PATRIOT ACT? What about the Explicit Lyrics sticker?
3. America discovered the breakthrough medicines that save lives.
Scientists discover breakthrough medicine
4. The USA produced the Internet. WOO HOO! You can't beat that!
uhhh...
5. The USA makes world-changing agricultural advancements and exports this knowledge and technology to starving countries that have saved millions of lives.
Europe is far ahead of us when it comes to most tech advances though
6. America created the peace corps.
Yeah, and we could have avoided some amount of death if we would have joined the "League of Nations"
7. The USA produced the Red Cross.
I forget who did but i'll take your word.
8. The USA invented the automobile.
Again, countries don't invent things
9. America invented electricity.
And they invented oxygen, electricity is everywhere dude.
10. The USA discovered nuclear power.
Pierre and Marie Curie started it.
11. The USA creates the best arts and entertainment the whole world enjoys.
Yes, fine art like "Freddy got fingered" and dreck like the Backstreet Boys
12. The USA invented the airplane.
I won't even start
13. The USA produced the Telephone.

14. America has created the most diverse ethnic society in the world.
Canada is pretty diverse.
15. The USA introduced the Salvation Army.
16. America invented the computer.

17. America is the number one provider of humanitarian aid to people in need throughout the world. America not only gives its time, energy, and resources, the USA risks and sacrifices American lives to promote freedom and security in this world.
Ah, my favorite one of all. Poor sheltered boy, actually we give less humanitarian aid than we really should. This --> http://www.nfid.org/factsheets/tbindex.html says it all. My favorite 4 s=on that are:
Rank of U.S among 21 developed nations for percentage of GNP spent on development assistance: 21
Percentage of U.S. GNP that is spent on development assistance: 0.08
Percentage of U.S. budget Americans feel should be spent on foreign aid: 15
Percentage of U.S budget that was actually spent on foreign aid in 1998: 1
Joke of the day: People say that "The Core" is a sci-fi movie, but i disagree, i can even see the meeting at the Pentagon they had: SCIENTIST: We have invented a machine that takes billions of dollars to sustain, needs billions of dollars to put where it is, could possibly destroy all of mankind and even destroy the earth
RUMSFELD: And?
SCIENTIST: It could be used to trigger earth quakes in enemy terrirories
RUMSFELD: Great! Let's do it!
| The zenith of human emotion and when it can be witnessed in its purest form is when the walls that have held back strong feelings come crashing down. I was in first period computer class yesterday not doing work but watching the Stalinesque statue of Saddam Hussein crash down and joyous floods of civilians beat at it with shoes and fists. No matter how much you have supported or opposed the war, like 9-11, you couldn't help but be moved by the sight of people who had been scared for so long, dance in the streets. But we can't let this fly by us. The peace movement which has worked so hard to stop the war has not been defeated and can't be let down by the fight in Iraq. We didn't lose, we didn't win either. It's up to the peace movement to ensure that a Pinochet dictator doesn't get cemented on the stool after the war ends. Iraq now faces a humanitarian crisis like the one that plagues Afghanistan, where according to a UN study 7 million people are in danger of starvation. The peace movement will be desperately needed in 2 years when George Bush is up for reelection and they can keep the spirit of reform and liberalism alive. The peace movement will be important if Rummy and his thugs decide to beat on Libya, Iran, or Syria. If we were to remove all dictators from power in this world why aren't we bombing Saudi Arabia where women get beaten for not wearing headdresses? It's up to the peace movement to appeal to the UN to be active in the democratizing of Iraq and the postwar demilitarization of it like we did with Japan after World War II. Looks like we got a lot of work to do, so let us stand firm and continue the fight for a better world where our children don't need to live in fear of nuclear war or dictators.
Tearing down the walls… I suggest you read my next entry, it will be quite interesting.

I put this stuff up because i care . As for the 3% on welfare, it was that low in the Clinton years and I am not talking about social security (Who knows what's gonna happen if we don't do something about that soon), i was talking about handouts to poor. Also, the interesting fact about the news and the amount of reports comming from the pentagon and defense department is included for a very special reason. Some say that the Iraqi public are brainwashed because the state controls the radio and TV, well if all your news comes from a single department that hardly knows what it is doing, isn't that state run media? Ok, enough out of me now. Please forgive my lack of minute by minute coverage of the war, i get tired of seeing the same sand huts with GIs running with machine guns. I have seen 2 obituaries for service men from the Escondido/San Diego area. I tried to find pictures but can't find any, may they rest in peace knowing some people at home support them.
David Bloom died, he was a good man.
Q- Should I get rid of my wonderful spectacular banners and go back to the normal boring hello?
